After the announcement of giving Bharat Ratna to Karpoori Thakur, Nitish Kumar had thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi by writing his name in his second post.

He also said that the Center has accepted one of their demands, now they should also accept the second demand. And their second demand is to give special state status to Bihar. Along with this, Nitish Kumar had also said that he will continue to do whatever is in the interest of the state.
